The Audit Manager will be responsible for managing and reviewing audit engagements,\nensuring compliance with professional standards, and leading a team to deliver high-quality service to clients.\nDuties & Responsibilities\nLead and Manage Audit Engagements:\nPlan, execute, and manage audits for a diverse range of clients across various industries, ensuring compliance with South African auditing standards.\nSupervise and Mentor Junior Staff:\nManage and provide guidance to Audit Seniors and Clerks, overseeing their work, offering mentorship, and fostering their professional development.\nClient Relationship Management:\nAct as the main point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships while understanding their business needs and delivering tailored audit solutions.\nReview and Quality Control:\nReview the work of juniors, ensuring all audit files, reports, and financial statements meet the firm’s quality standards and adhere to regulatory requirements.\nRisk Identification and Mitigation:\nIdentify audit risks and internal control issues, recommending practical solutions to mitigate risks and improve clients' financial operations.\nPrepare Audit Reports:\nDraft and review audit reports, management letters, and financial statements, presenting clear findings and actionable recommendations to clients.\nBudget and Resource Management:\nOversee the efficient allocation of resources, manage audit budgets, and ensure audits are completed within the agreed timelines and financial parameters.\n Ensure Compliance with Regulations:\nStay up to date with changes in tax laws, auditing standards (ISA), and other regulatory requirements, ensuring audits are compliant with the latest legislation.\nContribute to Business Development:\nAssist senior management in identifying new business opportunities, preparing client proposals, and expanding existing client relationships.\nProcess Improvement and Efficiency:\nContinuously assess and enhance internal audit processes, identifying areas for improvement to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve client service.\nDesired Experience & Qualification\nMinimum Requirements:\nProfessional Qualification: Either a newly qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or soon to be qualified CA (must then have passed first board exam (ITC)).\nExperience: Must have completed SAICA Articles in an audit environment.\nEducation: Undergraduate and Postgraduate in Accounting complete.\nAdditional\nKnowledge: Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards (e.g., ISA, GAAP), and regulatory requirements.\nTechnical Skills: Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).\nTransport: Must have own reliable vehicle (for occasional client visits).\nOther Requirements: Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and demonstrate leadership qualities.\nPackage & Remuneration\nR40 000 (Partially completed) -
