operational expenses to maximise efficiency and minimise wastage.\nDrive branch profitability through effective budget management, cost control, yield management and the achievement of gross profit targets.\nPrepare and manage annual budgets and forecasts, monitor monthly financial performance and implement strategies to address budget variances.\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and key suppliers while driving customer retention, business growth and the conversion of uncontrolled business.\nSupport business development initiatives by promoting the company's services and network to existing and prospective clients.\nOversee the implementation of new accounts, service delivery standards, standard operating procedures and quality control processes.\nManage escalated client queries and service issues to maintain service levels and strengthen customer relationships.\nProvide technical guidance on freight forwarding, customs-related legislation and industry developments, advising clients on the implications for their businesses.\nManage rate increases and monitor gross profit per client to ensure sustainable commercial performance.\nMonitor branch performance through key performance indicators, balanced scorecards and regular productivity reporting.\nPrepare monthly management reports covering branch profitability, budget performance, income statements, yield, productivity and business at risk.\nEnsure compliance with company policies, procedures, quality management systems and applicable ISO standards.\nManage service provider performance, identify operational irregularities and implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.\nRequirements:\nMinimum 10 years' experience within the freight forwarding industry, including at least 3 years in a middle management capacity.\nMatric.\nFIATA Diploma or a three-year freight forwarding-related qualification at NQF Level 7 or equivalent (Highly
