Branch Manager

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of branch operations, including inbound and outbound logistics
• Optimizing costs and delivery times.
• Implement and maintain efficient processes and systems.
• Analyze operational performance and identify areas for improvement.

• Manage the branch budget and ensure cost-effectiveness
• Contribute to achieving financial targets for the branch.

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Investigate and resolve customer service issues.
• Oversee and assist with new customer onboarding.

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including OSHA and any other requirements.
• Maintain a safe and efficient working environment.

• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to drive productivity and reduce costs.
• Stay up to date with industry’s best practices and trends.

• Establish work schedules and contract driver coverage.
• Interface with shared functions and other departments.
• Manage and control resources and risk management.
• Maintain existing systems, processes, and controls with continuous improvement.
• Ensure a positive working environment with proactive staff engagement, open door policy and effective communication.

• Computer Literate, Freightware TMS, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Express.
• At least 6-8 years in supervisory role in logistics operations, more specifically in freight distribution operations.
• Understand the importance of targets and deadlines / prioritizing of critical tasks
