The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing projects, ensuring that it is completed on time, within budget, and meets all regulatory standards.\nDuties & Responsibilities\nDevelop detailed engineering plans and designs for projects utilizing both manual design skills as well as computer-based application, such as automated computer-assisted design.\nOversee the execution of civil projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed within scope, time frame, and budget.\nConduct site inspections, ensuring compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.\nPerform structural and geotechnical analysis, addressing any issues or changes that may arise during the project lifecycle.\nCarry out the design function according to the Scope of Work and national and/or international regulations.\nProvide accurate cost estimates and manage project budgets effectively.\nPrepare technical reports, presentations, and other documentation to keep all stakeholders informed of project progress and any challenges encountered.\nIntegrate sustainable practices and innovative technologies into engineering designs to improve efficiency and reduce environmental impact.\nMaintain proper record of reviews and job details\nDesired Experience & Qualification\nMinimum requirements:\nGrade 12 with mathematics and science\nB.Eng. / BTech Civil engineering qualification\n2-4 Years’ Civil Engineering experience in the Petrochemical industry\nProficient in Prokon / Robot\nDrafting Knowledge\nProficient in Microsoft Office\nValid driver’s license with own transport (Code B / EB).\nSkills:\nCivil design\nKnowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry best practices\nUnderstanding of manufacturing processes and construction methods\nExcellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills\nDeadline driven\nAbility to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team\nGood knowledge of health and safety regulations\nPackage & Remuneration\nR40 000 -
