successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating civil construction activities, ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently, within project timelines and in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards and applicable regulations.Minimum Requirements\nNational Diploma in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification.\nMinimum of 7 years' experience in civil construction and project supervision.\nProven experience working on industrial, mining, processing plant or energy projects.\nDemonstrated experience supervising civil contractors and multidisciplinary construction teams.\nStrong practical knowledge of earthworks, excavations, concrete construction, foundations, drainage and underground services.\nExperience in surveying, setting out, quality inspections and construction testing.\nSound understanding of construction drawings, technical specifications, safety regulations and site procedures.\nKey ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate civil construction contractors and daily site activities.\nOversee earthworks, excavations, trenching, backfilling, compaction and road construction.\nManage concrete works, including foundations, slabs, plinths, reinforcement, formwork and equipment bases.\nSupervise drainage systems, stormwater infrastructure, cable trenches and underground services.\nEnsure all construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, method statements and quality standards.\nConduct regular site inspections and monitor contractor performance and workmanship.\nEnforce health, safety and environmental requirements in accordance with applicable construction regulations.\nCoordinate surveying, setting out, levels and dimensional control.\nOversee construction inspections and testing, including soil compaction and concrete quality testing.\nMonitor project progress, productivity, resources and construction schedules.\nIdentify construction delays, technical challenges and project risks, and implement appropriate corrective actions.\nManage construction punch lists, non-conformances and quality-related issues.\nMaintain accurate site records, daily progress reports and construction documentation.\nSupport equipment installation, commissioning activities and final project handover.\n Advantageous Qualifications and ExperiencePrevious experience on Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) construction projects.\nExperience with equipment foundations and associated civil infrastructure.\nAdditional qualifications or certifications in civil construction supervision.\nOccupational Health and Safety qualifications or relevant training.\nKey CompetenciesStrong leadership, supervision and contractor management skills.\nExcellent safety awareness and attention to detail.\nEffective planning, organisational and time-management abilities.\nGood communication and interpersonal skills.\nStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.\nAbility to work under pressure, manage competing priorities and meet project deadlines.\nContract Duration: 12 months, with the possibility of
