Turning to join their team.\nThe successful candidate must have strong CNC turning, programming and setting experience, with proven jobbing experience and the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a production environment.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nSet up, program and adjust offsets on CNC machines to perform various machining operations.\nProgram, set and operate CNC turning machines using Okuma controls.\nRead and correctly interpret engineering drawings.\nUse relevant precision measuring equipment to accurately check and measure components.\nUse machine tools, jigs and fixtures when required.\nEnsure that all first-off machined components are inspected for conformance to specifications.\nMeet production targets as specified on job cards and achieve more than 85% efficiency.\nMaintain excellent productivity and minimise production downtime.\nMaintain a very low or zero scrap and rework rate.\nReport all non-conforming components to the Foreman or Inspector immediately.\nAdhere to company work standards, policies and procedures relating to quality, environmental requirements, health and safety.\nEnsure all required PPE is worn and maintain a neat and tidy uniform at all times.\nMaintain excellent housekeeping standards and ensure the work area is clean, neat and safe.\nMaintain a good attendance and timekeeping record.\nPerform any reasonable duties or tasks as requested by management from time to time.\nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTSMatric / Grade 12 or any NQF Level 4 qualification.\nQualified Turner -
