specific requirements\nKey performance areas:\nTo design a cost-effective solution for projects in order to meet the customer needs.\nTo prepare a functional and detailed design of the approved solution for the client to ensure the effective development thereof.\nTo design system architecture for software implementations.\nTo design industrial communication networks for software implementations (ethernet, fibre, Profinet, etc.)\nTo design, develop, test, and implement PLC programs according to client specifications and ensure the optimal functioning thereof.\nTo design, develop, test, and implement SCADA and/or HMI applications according to client specifications and ensure the optimal functioning thereof.\nTo develop simulation applications for testing and training purposes.\nTo develop QCP documentation for factory acceptance testing.\nTo perform factory acceptance tests to ensure that the designed solution is fully functional.\nTo implement the complete solution at the client and ensure the optimal functioning thereof.\nTo develop QCP documentation for site acceptance testing.\nTo perform site acceptance tests to ensure that the designed solution is fully functional.\nTo provide training and assistance to the client, to ensure that the client is able to use the system within the design constraints.\nTo provide post project system support for the client as and when required.\nExperience and Minimum Requirements:\nMatric\nMust have a Degree Technical Diploma or NQF Equivalent in Electrical, Electronic, Computer or Mechatronic Engineering\nMust have 3-5 years of relevant industrial automation experience: Siemens, Schneider, Allan Bradley, Omron, Beckhoff,\nadvanced Mitsubishi skills required\nMust have exposure to mining industry\nPractical
