Supercharge your career with us and be part of something extraordinary.\nWhy we need you\nWe're on a mission to create extraordinary experiences for our customers, and we believe that your unique skills, passion and superdrive will help us achieve our vision.\nAs a Data Analyst you'll be supporting the delivery of the Internal Audit function by harnessing the power of data analytics to gain governance, risk and control insights during audit engagements for us to stay ahead of the game.\nWhat you'll be doing\nAs part of your role, your responsibilities will include:\nCollaborate with internal auditors and business stakeholders to understand audit objectives and translate them into effective data analysis procedures.\nDesign and develop data analytics and trend analysis to highlight risk and control breakdowns that need to be addressed to improve the governance, risk and internal control environment\nEvaluate the design and effectiveness of business and internal audit processes and systems using data analytics and identify opportunities to optimize processes, improve efficiency, accuracy and data integrity\nDrive the implementation of a continuous auditing framework using data analytics to support the relevant internal audit projects\nDevelop dashboards and incorporate visualisations to enhance reporting, focus assurance efforts and promote increased audit coverage\nCreate working papers, data dictionaries and reports in support of the data analytics performed\nEnsure quality of execution and reporting of data analytics\nAssist in the development and implementation of frameworks, policies and procedures to guide data analytics objectives within Internal Audit\nEffectively convey complex data-driven insights and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders\nThis job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of responsibilities. You may be required to complete other reasonable duties in order to achieve business objectives.\nEssential skills you'll bring to the table\nThe necessary skills that we require for this role include:\nStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively\nExperience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams, with a focus on achieving shared goals\nExpertise in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a track record of delivering on time and within scope\nExceptional attention to detail, ensuring high standards of quality in all outputs\nAbility to adapt quickly to changing environments and priorities, maintaining effectiveness in dynamic situations\nTertiary education in Information Systems/Statistics/similar\n4-6 years of data analytics as well as eCommerce experience\nProficient in Microsoft SQL, Python and Alteryx (e.g. SSIS, SSRS)\nWorking knowledge of auditing requirements and methodology\nDemonstrated ability to solve problems with critical analysis skills\nDesirable skills you've got up your sleeve\nIt would be great if you also have some of the following skills:\nIn-depth knowledge of sports betting markets, including odds calculation, betting types and market trends\nPrevious experience in the online gaming or casino industry, with a strong understanding of player behaviour and industry regulations\nFamiliarity with gambling regulations and compliance requirements in various jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to legal standards\nExperience in developing and executing customer retention strategies\nStrong analytical and critical thinking abilities.\nUnderstanding of data privacy, data integrity, and regulatory compliance concepts (e.g., SOX, GDPR)\nProficiency in Business Intelligence tools such PowerBi\nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to present findings to technical and non-technical audiences.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, global environment.\nHigh ethical standards and professional integrity.\nOur values are non-negotiables\nOur culture is underpinned by core values that are linked to key behavioural competencies.
