# Data Analytics Engineer

PBT Group is looking for an experienced Data Analytics Engineer to join our data engineering team. This role sits at the intersection of Data Engineering and Data Analytics, with a strong focus on building reliable, scalable and performant data models and data assets that enable effective reporting and decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL and data modelling experience, a solid understanding of analytics engineering principles, and experience developing production-grade data solutions within modern data environments. Key Responsibilities Design, develop and maintain scalable data models, data marts and semantic layers. Develop robust SQL transformations, data pipelines and production-grade data assets. Apply dimensional modelling and data warehousing best practices. Implement data validation, testing and quality assurance frameworks. Optimise SQL queries, data models and workloads for performance and scalability. Develop and maintain reliable transformation code using version control, CI/CD and testing practices.
