The role involves reviewing, updating, validating, and monitoring data across relevant systems to ensure that information remains current, reliable, and compliant with company standards and procedures.\nKey Responsibilities\nMaintain and update master data and operational records across relevant systems.\n\nCapture, amend, and validate data accurately and within agreed turnaround times.\n\nReview data for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and duplication.\n\nIdentify and investigate data discrepancies and coordinate corrections with relevant departments.\n\nConduct regular data quality checks and audits.\n\nEnsure that changes to data are properly authorised and documented.\n\nMaintain accurate records of data amendments and updates.\n\nMonitor data maintenance requests and ensure that they are processed within agreed service levels.\n\nReconcile information between different systems, reports, and source documents.\n\nGenerate and maintain data quality and exception reports.\n\nEscalate recurring data issues and recommend corrective actions.\n\nAssist with data cleansing, standardisation, and improvement initiatives.\n\nMaintain appropriate controls to protect the accuracy and integrity of company data.\n\nEnsure that confidential and sensitive information is handled in accordance with company policies.\n\nMaintain proper documentation and filing of supporting records.\n\nLiaise with internal departments, suppliers, customers, or other stakeholders to resolve data-related queries.\n\nSupport system upgrades, data migrations, and other data-related projects when required.\n\nAdhere to organisational policies, procedures, governance requirements, and data protection standards.\n\nMinimum Requirements\nGrade 12 / Matric or equivalent.\n\nDiploma or certificate in Data Management, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field will be advantageous.\n\n2-3 years' experience in data maintenance, data administration, data capturing, master data management, or a similar role.\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.\n\nExperience working with databases or ERP systems will be advantageous.\n\nStrong numerical and analytical skills.\n\nExcellent attention to detail and accuracy.\n\nGood organisational and time-management skills.\n\nAbility to work independently and meet
