The ideal candidate will have a solid background in software engineering, will work with developers, Operations and Analysts to ensure that software development follows established processes and works as intended. The DevOps engineer will also help plan projects and be involved in project management decisions.\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nDevelop and implement new development tools and infrastructure.\nUnderstand stakeholder needs and effectively communicate them to development teams.\nIdentify and implement strategies to automate and improve development, testing, and release processes.\nSupport testing analysts by examining code and analyzing test results.\nEnsure the security and safety of systems against cybersecurity threats.\nIdentify technical problems and develop solutions through software updates, fixes, or the integration of new technologies.\nCollaborate with software developers and Operations specialists to ensure adherence to established development processes and intended functionality.\nParticipate in project planning and contribute to project management decisions.\nDemonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).\n Minimum Requirements:\nMinimum of 2 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar software engineering role.\nBachelor of Science degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field (Advantageous).\nExperience deploying updates and fixes, and providing Level 2 technical support.\nProven ability to build tools to reduce the occurrence of errors and improve customer experience.\nExperience developing software to integrate with internal back-end systems.\nProficient in performing root cause analysis of production errors and resolving technical issues.\nExperience developing scripts to automate visualization.\nDemonstrated ability to design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.\nExperience with source control systems such as Bitbucket, Git, or GitHub.\nWorking knowledge of databases and SQL.\nExperience with test automation tools such as Cypress, Selenium, and JUnit.\nExcellent experience with Docker and Kubernetes.\nExcellent experience
