urgent orders and manage competing delivery deadlines.\nEnsure the safe handling, loading and transportation of fragile materials, including glass and aluminium profiles.\nVerify purchase orders, delivery notes and dispatch documentation for accuracy and completeness.\nConfirm that the correct products, quantities and specifications are delivered to the correct customers.\nLiaise with production teams, drivers, customers and management to coordinate dispatch activities.\nResolve delivery delays, loading issues, damaged goods and customer complaints promptly and professionally.\nIdentify operational challenges and implement practical solutions to minimise delays and improve efficiency.\nMaintain accurate dispatch records and use Microsoft Excel to track deliveries and operational performance.\nEnsure the dispatch area remains organised, safe and productive.\nMinimum Requirements\nPrevious experience in dispatch supervision, logistics, warehouse operations or a similar role.\nProven ability to lead and manage a team of dispatch staff and drivers.\nStrong planning, scheduling, routing and organisational skills.\nExperience with dispatch processes in a manufacturing environment.\nKnowledge of purchase orders, delivery notes and dispatch documentation.\nExcellent attention to detail and a strong focus on order accuracy.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.\nStrong communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills.\nAbility to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.\nPhysically capable of working in an operational dispatch environment.\nAdvantageous Experience\nExperience in the glass, aluminium or building materials industry.\nKnowledge of the safe handling and transportation of fragile materials and long aluminium profiles.\nFamiliarity with logistics, inventory or warehouse management
