and oversee all security technology systems in the NOC, receive responses as prescribed;\nAccept and manager all risk situations as detected, identified and reported by the workstation operators;\nEnsure all instructions, assignments, tasks, requests and responsibilities assigned by the client is given first priority and completed on or before the due dates;\nEnsure all NOC workstation staff adhere to policies and procedures;\nDo regular workstation job description tests with the NOC personnel to ensure they are familiar with their respective post descriptions and re-train where applicable;\nConduct on-site training with the NOC workstation staff on new procedures and systems;\nResearch new methods of control room operating procedures to improve current operations;\nAssist client in opening of criminal cases in the event of incidents and possible investigation if required;\nEnsure handing and taking over is performed and documented at each shift change;\nEnsure there is no unauthorized entry into the NOC;\nAll matters reported into the NOC should be treated as an incident and all detail captured and an appropriate response rendered to ensure a clear audit trail of the sequence of events and actions;\nIn cases of emergencies the duty manager must delegate resources as required;\nMust be able to manage and ensure there is a full complement manning each shift;\nIncidents, exceptions and crisis management;\nManage operator performance and outputs i.e. CCTV camera and intruder alarm system monitoring;\nMonitor alarm systems, escalate positive alarms, capture detail of all responses to all alarms on the appropriate software platforms;\nData capture and complete daily CCTV and alarm reports;\nCommunicate via two-way radio and telephone;\nConduct health checks for technical systems;\nAll verbal and written reports including data capture must be of a high standard/quality and in English \n\n Preferred qualifications/attributes/skills: PSIRA certification Grade A;\nGrade 12 or equivalent qualification;\nRelevant experience in a multi-functional control room environment;\nRelevant experience in a Managerial or similar position is essential;\nSystems knowledge and experience on Signal Tower and Axon will be to your advantage\nMS Office and Lync, Google earth and Windows based applications;\nGood communication, tact, diplomacy, assertiveness and relationship building;\nMust be flexible, honest, have integrity, drive, energy, creativity, initiative, independence and be able to work under pressure;\nGood legal understanding as per the Criminal Procedure Act and have general knowledge of common statutory law, constitution and bill of rights and court litigation;\nInvestigative and administrative knowledge;\nMust have basic electronic knowledge;\nClean disciplinary, criminal and credit record;\nOwn transport and driver’s license;\nEmployment
