Requirements:

  • National Diploma/Certificate in Electrical Engineering/Mechatronics
  • 3 years post qualification experience in the automotive industry
  • E-PLAN P8 experience is an advantage
  • Knowledge of Siemens PLC's and control circuits
  • Drivers License

Possible duties:

  • Design and implement electrical systems and layouts for industrial and automation environments
  • Create and update detailed electrical schematics and documentation using EPLAN P8
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize control systems, including Siemens PLCs and related industrial circuits
  • Conduct inspections and functional testing to ensure electrical systems meet safety and performance standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production operations and project execution
  • Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and integration of electrical systems
  • Ensure compliance with relevant electrical engineering standards, regulations, and company policies
