Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate electrical teams and daily activities.
  • Plan, organise and monitor electrical installations, maintenance and repairs.
  • Ensure all electrical work is completed according to required standards and specifications.
  • Conduct fault-finding, testing and repairs on electrical systems and equipment.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, diagrams and specifications.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with OHS requirements.
  • Monitor the quality and progress of electrical work.
  • Allocate tasks to electricians and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Identify electrical faults and assist with troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Ensure tools, equipment and materials are available for the team.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
  • Communicate with management, contractors and other departments where required.
  • Provide guidance and support to electricians and assistants.
Requirements:
  • Relevant Electrical Trade Test.
  • Proven experience as an Electrician, preferably in a Foreman or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical installations, maintenance and fault-finding.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
  • Good leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Valid driver's licence would be advantageous.
