engineering and industrial equipment sector is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager: Spares, Services & Reliability to provide technical leadership across spare parts, field services, equipment refurbishment and reliability activities.\nThe successful candidate will provide technical oversight, lead engineering investigations, support field service operations and ensure that aftermarket products, repairs and engineering solutions meet the required quality, reliability and technical standards.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nAct as the technical authority for aftermarket products and services.\n\nProvide engineering support for vibrating screens, feeders, exciters and associated equipment.\n\nReview and approve technical quotations and repair scopes.\n\nSupport complex customer technical enquiries and engineering requirements.\n\nReview and approve manufacturing drawings and technical specifications.\n\nVerify compliance with engineering standards and original design requirements.\n\nSupport manufacturing teams with technical problem-solving.\n\nInspect manufactured components and assemblies and verify dimensional compliance.\n\nProvide technical oversight of equipment refurbishment and repair projects.\n\nLead equipment failure investigations and root cause analysis (RCA).\n\nDevelop corrective actions and reliability improvement recommendations.\n\nPrepare technical reports for customers and management.\n\nProvide technical leadership and guidance to Field Service teams.\n\nDevelop and maintain field service methodologies and technical standards.\n\nReview service reports and technical findings.\n\nConduct site inspections, customer visits, commissioning and troubleshooting activities.\n\nDevelop engineering solutions aimed at reducing downtime and improving equipment performance.\n\nSupport customer maintenance planning and reliability improvement initiatives.\n\nProvide technical support to Sales and Commercial teams, including technical evaluations, maintenance budgeting, life-cycle costing and upgrade recommendations.\n\nIdentify opportunities for equipment improvements, design enhancements and product development.\n\nProvide technical mentoring and contribute to engineering training initiatives.\n\nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS\nDegree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.\n\nExtensive experience in a mechanical engineering environment.\n\nExperience within mining, heavy engineering, industrial equipment or a similar environment will be advantageous.\n\nProven experience with mechanical equipment, preferably including vibrating screens, feeders, exciters or similar equipment.\n\nStrong knowledge of reliability engineering, failure investigation and root cause analysis.\n\nExperience with engineering drawings, technical specifications and design verification.\n\nExperience in equipment refurbishment, repairs, maintenance or aftermarket engineering.\n\nPrevious field service and customer-facing technical experience.\n\nProven leadership and team management experience.\n\nStrong technical report-writing and problem-solving
