The role supports Property Managers in ensuring optimal building performance, compliance, service delivery, and tenant satisfaction across the portfolio.\nKey Responsibilities\nConduct and manage routine maintenance and repairs across electrical, fire, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural components.\nManage and action all repair & maintenance (R&M), preventative maintenance (PM), and engineering-related tasks.\nIdentify and report material risks related to perimeter security, CCTV, and structural elements.\nRespond promptly to reactive maintenance issues and ensure rapid resolution.\nMaintain accurate maintenance and service schedules for each building.\nLiaise with administration teams to ensure timely job card closures and workflow completion.\nImplement and monitor Health & Safety and quality assurance standards.\nManage and coordinate subcontractors, projects, and related works.\nIdentify continuous improvement opportunities within facilities operations.\nEnsure all buildings have updated compliance documentation, maintenance records, and statutory certifications.\nOversee asset management and ensure maintenance is executed according to budgeted cycles.\nSupport and enhance service delivery for all Hard Services, including Mechanical & Electrical systems.\nManage administration, correspondence, reporting, and weekly building inspections.\nExercise financial control, including budget management and approval of quotes/invoices.\nManage tenant-related services and service delivery expectations.\nProvide telephonic standby support for critical maintenance incidents, including after-hours callouts.\nExperience Required\nMinimum 5 years’ experience in Facilities Management, Building Management, Maintenance Management, or Infrastructure Operations (essential).\nExposure to Electrical, Mechanical, and General Building Infrastructure (advantageous).\nExperience with Building Management Systems (BMS).\nKnowledge of RedRabbit or similar property maintenance systems (advantageous).\nStrong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office; MS Projects/MDA beneficial.\nQualifications & Skills\nDiploma/Degree in Retail Business Administration, Project Management, Building Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (advantageous).\nMinimum 5 years management experience in a Facilities or Building Management role.\nStrong people leadership and performance management capability.\nExpertise in project management, operational planning, and implementation.\nFinancial management competency.\nCustomer-service orientation with strong stakeholder engagement ability.\nUnderstanding of industry standards, service level agreements, contract management, and quality management principles.","description_format":"text","description_chars":2901,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":5,"management_years_min":5,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Commerce"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-23T14:43:21Z"}],"liveness":{"score":52,"band":"ok","label":"Likely open","p_open":1,"p_active":0.516,"p_room":1,"age_days":0,"expected_fill_days":3,"reasons":["conf:0","agency","win:early","comp:brand"],"computed_at":"2026-09-23T20:25:40Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/job-mail-facilities-manager-11","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/job-mail-facilities-manager-11.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-09-23T20:25:40Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers"}}
