Facilities Manager
Seeking a seasoned Facilities Manager to make a tangible impact in maintaining and enhancing key property assets within the construction, property, and real estate sectors. Our client, a well-established organization committed to operational excellence and safety standards, is looking for a dedicated professional to oversee comprehensive facilities management in the Western Cape.
Where You'll Make an Impact:
Conduct and compile detailed building condition assessments to inform maintenance strategies.
Identify repair and maintenance needs, conducting initial costing to ensure budget adherence.
Maintain accurate asset registers and preventative maintenance schedules.
Manage the delivery of facilities management solutions aligned with company strategy and policies.
Ensure all work permits are issued prior to on-site activities.
Implement and oversee SHEQ and ISO standards to ensure a safe and compliant working environment.
Conduct regular property inspections to uphold quality standards.
Coordinate with contractors for repairs, maintenance, and service delivery, maintaining SLAs.
Log, monitor, and resolve service tickets efficiently.
Oversee repairs, replacements, stock management, and tenant installation projects within budget.
Review SLA performance, report non-conformances, and maintain comprehensive documentation.
Calculate costs related to repairs and capex projects, ensuring financial controls are maintained.
Duties:
Conduct building assessments and compile reports
Manage maintenance requirements and initial costing
Keep asset registers and PPM schedules accurate
Supervise facilities services and contractor performance
Ensure compliance with SHEQ and ISO standards
Perform regular property inspections
Log, monitor, and resolve service tickets
Coordinate repairs, replacements, and tenant projects
Review SLA performance and report issues
Oversee budgeting for repairs and capex
Requirements:
3-5 years of experience in facilities management or related roles
Strong management and coordination abilities
Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, and MDA Accounting
Knowledge of property, construction, and real estate industries
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Good understanding of SHEQ and ISO standards
Advantageous:
Additional qualifications in facilities or property management
Experience in asset management systems
