Financial Accountant

• Prepare and process monthly journals and account reconciliations.
• Maintain the General Ledger and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
• Assist with the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.
• Manage and support VAT calculations, submissions, and compliance requirements.
• Assist with tax-related calculations and submissions.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting in line with accounting standards and company policies.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and variances.
• Assist with auditing requirements and provide supporting documentation when required.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and controls.

• BCom Accounting or related Finance Degree.
• Completed or studying towards SAIPA or SAICA Articles.
• 0 to 2 years' accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of General Ledger, journals, VAT, tax, and financial statement preparation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with MDA or MRI systems will be advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Eagerness to learn and develop within a dynamic finance environment.
