Financial Accountant

Job Description:

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Own reconciliations, journals and month-end processes
• Monitor cash flow and support working capital management
• Analyse financial performance and investigate variances
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Ensure VAT and statutory compliance
• Support internal and external audits
• Strengthen financial controls and improve processes
• Work closely with operational teams to support business performance

Skills & Experience:

• 1-3 years in an operational environment such as manufacturing, FMCG, agriculture, distribution, logistics or retail
• Strong accounting, reporting and reconciliation skills
• Exposure to management accounts, budgeting and forecasting
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
• Energetic, proactive and confident communicator
• Ambitious and eager to grow into a leadership role

Qualification:

Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles
