The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, completing reconciliations, assisting with reporting, and ensuring that financial processes are followed correctly.Key Responsibilities:\nManage day-to-day financial and accounting functions.\nProcess and capture invoices, payments, receipts and other financial transactions.\nPerform regular bank and account reconciliations.\nManage accounts payable and accounts receivable.\nMonitor outstanding customer accounts and follow up on payments.\nPrepare and maintain monthly financial reports.\nAssist with month-end and year-end financial processes.\nMonitor income, expenses and cash flow.\nAssist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.\nMaintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.\nEnsure invoices and supporting documentation are properly filed.\nAssist with VAT, SARS and other statutory financial requirements.\nIdentify discrepancies and assist with resolving financial queries.\nMaintain confidentiality of financial and company information.\nEnsure financial controls and company procedures are consistently followed.\nProvide general financial support to management when required.\nMinimum Requirements:\nGrade 12 / Matric.\nRelevant qualification in Accounting, Finance or Financial Management will be advantageous.\n2-3 years' experience in a similar finance/accounting role.\nExperience with accounting software.\nGood working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.\nExperience with reconciliations, invoicing, creditors and debtors.\nBasic understanding of VAT and SARS requirements.\nGood numerical and analytical skills.\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy.\nKey Skills & Competencies:\nFinancial and numerical accuracy.\nAttention to detail.\nStrong organisational and time-management skills.\nGood communication skills.\nProblem-solving ability.\nAbility to work independently.\nAbility to meet deadlines.\nHonesty, integrity and confidentiality.\nGood computer literacy.\nAbility to work well under pressure.\nWorking Hours: Full-time, Monday to FridaySalary: R13,500.00 per month\nIdeal Candidate Profile:\nThe ideal candidate should be a hands-on finance professional who is comfortable working with figures, enjoys maintaining accurate financial records and can take ownership of day-to-day financial responsibilities.
