business review processes.\nContribute financial input towards growth, profitability and operational improvement initiatives.\nManufacturing Finance and Cost Management\nOversee product costing and manufacturing cost analysis.\nAnalyse production variances and manufacturing overhead recovery rates.\nSupport operational teams with financial insights relating to production efficiency and cost reduction opportunities.\nReview and maintain the integrity of inventory records, including work-in-progress and finished goods.\nProvide financial analysis to support make-versus-buy decisions and capital investment opportunities.\nDrive effective cost control and working capital management.\nTreasury and Cash Flow Management\nManage cash flow forecasting and working capital requirements.\nPerform and review bank reconciliations and treasury-related activities.\nMaintain and manage relationships with banking institutions.\nSupport effective cash management and financial risk mitigation.\nCompliance, Tax and Audit\nEnsure compliance with relevant financial legislation, internal policies and accounting requirements.\nTake responsibility for internal and external audit requirements and liaise with auditors.\nPrepare and coordinate the required Income Tax documentation and supporting packs.\nTake ownership of VAT and other applicable tax requirements and queries.\nContinuously assess and strengthen financial controls, processes and reporting procedures.\nMaintain and reconcile the fixed asset register.\nSupport financial risk management activities, including insurance-related matters.\nLeadership and Stakeholder Management\nManage, guide and develop the finance team.\nAllocate responsibilities and ensure the effective management of team performance.\nSet KPAs and conduct performance reviews and development discussions.\nWork closely with operational management and other internal stakeholders to improve financial performance.\nLiaise with Head Office Finance to ensure alignment with group processes and reporting requirements.\nBuild and maintain effective relationships with key external stakeholders, including banks, suppliers and auditors.\nProcess Improvement\nIdentify opportunities to improve and streamline finance-related processes.\nDrive the implementation and maintenance of effective financial controls and procedures.\nSupport change management initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency and financial reporting.\nMinimum Requirements\nBCom Accounting degree or equivalent Commerce qualification.\nProfessional registration with, or progress towards, SAICA, CIMA or SAIPA would be advantageous.\nMinimum of 3-5 years' experience in a similar Finance Manager or senior financial management role.\nPrevious people management and team leadership experience is essential.\nStrong experience in financial management, management accounting, budgeting and forecasting.\nExperience with expense management, budget analysis, forecasting and debtor management.\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with accounting systems.\nManufacturing or operational finance experience would be highly advantageous.\nStrong hands-on approach with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.\nKey Competencies\nStrong financial and technical accounting
