Operational Leadership\nProvide overall leadership and direction for all operational areas of the transportation hub.\nOversee the day-to-day management of fuel operations, retail facilities, food outlets, truck parking, accommodation and supporting infrastructure.\nDevelop and implement operational strategies that improve efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction.\nEnsure the facility consistently delivers world-class service standards.\nFinancial and Commercial ManagementManage the overall operational budget and financial performance of the hub.\nMonitor revenue, expenditure, profitability and key financial performance indicators.\nDrive revenue growth across all business units.\nOversee procurement, cost control, cash management, reconciliations and audit compliance.\nIdentify new commercial opportunities to maximise facility utilisation and profitability.\nPeople LeadershipLead, mentor and develop departmental managers and operational teams.\nOversee recruitment, onboarding, training, succession planning and performance management.\nEnsure compliance with labour legislation, company policies and MIBCO agreements.\nBuild and maintain constructive relationships with organised labour, including NUM representatives.\nFoster a culture of accountability, safety, teamwork and continuous improvement.\nCustomer and Stakeholder ManagementBuild strong relationships with transport operators, fleet owners, customers, franchise partners, suppliers and service providers.\nEnsure exceptional customer service standards are maintained across the facility.\nResolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.\nLiaise with regulatory authorities, municipal departments and industry stakeholders where required.\nStock and Asset ManagementOversee inventory management across fuel, retail and food service operations.\nMonitor stock levels, ordering, stock rotation and stock takes.\nMinimise shrinkage and investigate inventory variances.\nSafeguard all company assets and operational equipment.\nContract and Franchise Management\nManage lease agreements and contractual obligations.\nEnsure franchise partners consistently comply with brand and operational standards.\nMonitor third-party contractors and service providers to ensure agreed service levels are achieved. \nSystems and TechnologyOversee the effective operation of POS systems, fuel management platforms, CCTV, access control and operational reporting systems.\nEnsure compliance with company IT governance, cybersecurity and data protection standards.\nRisk, Compliance and GovernanceEnsure full compliance with all legislative, environmental, health and safety requirements.\nLead internal audits, operational risk assessments and emergency response planning.\nImplement proactive risk mitigation and business continuity strategies.\nPromote a culture of ethical leadership, governance and regulatory compliance.\nIntegrity and Professional
