Key responsibilities include:

Providing HR and IR advice to management and clients.
Managing disciplinary, grievance, incapacity and performance-related processes.
Assisting with CCMA matters and dispute resolution.
Drafting employment contracts, policies and HR/IR documentation.
Advising on labour legislation and HR best practices.
Assisting with union matters and collective bargaining.
Developing and facilitating HR/IR training.
Supporting clients with practical HR solutions across the employee life cycle.

Requirements:

Relevant HR, Labour Relations, Industrial Psychology or related qualification.
2-3 years’ practical HR/IR experience.
Strong knowledge of South African labour legislation.
Experience with disciplinary and grievance procedures.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong administrative and organisational abilities.
Professional, confident and able to engage with both management and employees.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple client matters.
Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel.
Advantageous: CCMA experience, disciplinary hearing experience, union/collective bargaining experience and previous HR/IR consulting experience.
