You will work closely with senior management, ensuring that people practices are effective, policies are up to date and the business operates within the framework of relevant legislation.\nWhat will you be responsible for?\nOverseeing HR governance, policies and procedures, ensuring these remain relevant and compliant.\n\nManaging Employment Equity and Occupational Health & Safety requirements.\n\nEnsuring compliance with South African labour legislation, including the BCEA, LRA, COIDA and OHS Act.\n\nGuiding and managing disciplinary processes and employee relations matters.\n\nDriving performance management initiatives and promoting a positive workplace culture.\n\nCoordinating compliance audits, statutory documentation and risk assessments.\n\nImproving workforce systems, including time and attendance reporting and payroll integration.\n\nTaking ownership of the development and implementation of a centralised Document Management System.\n\nProviding sound HR guidance and support to management and employees.\n\nWhat are we looking for?\nA post-matric qualification in HR, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration or a related field would be advantageous, but is not essential.\n\nDemonstrable experience or strong exposure to HR and legislative compliance.\n\nSound knowledge of employee relations and disciplinary procedures.\n\nExperience in Occupational Health & Safety, COIDA and Employment Equity.\n\nExposure to onboarding, training, recruitment and performance management.\n\nAdvanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.\n\nExcellent organisational, analytical and problem-solving abilities.\n\nThe confidence to engage with employees and management at all levels.\n\nFluent English is essential; isiZulu proficiency, both spoken and written, will be an advantage.\n\nThe person we are looking for\nYou are organised, detail-oriented and proactive.
