The role oversees all aspects of HR: Talent Management, Learning and Development, Performance Management, Remuneration, Employee and Industrial Relations, Employee Wellness, and Payroll management. Additionally, contribute to policy formulation as a good governance foundation for the Human Resources function.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nTalent ManagementManage the recruitment process to ensure the timely acquisition of resources\nEnsure onboarding and induction processes are welcoming and seamless\nMaintain recruitment databases with accurate recordkeeping\nEvaluate service from recruitment agencies on an annual basis\nChampion local hiring and development initiatives in line with the reserve's community upliftment goals.\nProfessionalize the offboarding process, conduct exit interviews and track trends over time\n\n Learning and DevelopmentMonitor and record training needs to compile the Learning and Development plan\nEnsure employees compile a personal development plan in partnership with line management\nMaintain relationship with the Department of Employment and Labour (DOEL) to ensure the timely submission of the Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) and the Annual Training Report (ATR)\nDrive a culture of continuous learning and professional development across all departments.\n\nPerformance Management and RemunerationExecute the bi-annual performance review processes and record all review data.\nFollow up on poor performance and track progress over time\nFollow up on excellent performance and ensure employee recognition\nSupport the annual remuneration processes and oversee monthly payroll processing\n\nEmployee RelationsFoster a values-driven, respectful, and inclusive work environment across diverse teams.\nFacilitate the resolution of disputes in partnership with line management\nIdentify wellness requirements and contribute to long term solutions.\n\n HR Operations + ComplianceEnsure legal and regulatory compliance with South African labour laws and relevant hospitality/conservation standards.\nProduce and manage HR data, payroll coordination, benefits administration, and contract management.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE\nBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or related field\nMinimum 5 years HR experience with good understanding of South African labour laws and best practices.\nExperience in Hospitality industry would be a distinct advantage\nPERSONAL ATTRIBUTES\nStrong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.\nCulturally sensitive with experience working with diverse teams.\nHigh integrity, discretion, and commitment to ethical practice.\nFlexible, adaptable, and resilient in remote or challenging settings.\nExcellent attention to detail and analytical
