Implementation & Platform Engineer is responsible for the software commissioning and support of the company that are monitoring mining processes and continuously monitors the installed sensors to ensure high uptime.Minimum Requirements:\nCertificate or diploma in IT or related qualification.\nAt least 3-5 years’ experience in an Application, Implementation, IT support, or a similar role, in the IT and tech industry.\nComfortable with Linux over the command line/SSH.\nWorking knowledge of IP networking, network debugging and basic firewall setup.\nBasic knowledge of scripting with Python or Bash.\nComfortable reading/editing TOML, JSON and Python config files.\nBasic working knowledge of Git and service like GitHub/Gitlab\nKnowledge of cloud IoT technologies, such as AWS/Azure IoT\nKnowledge of Docker/Containers would be advantageous.\nExperience with OPC industrial protocol would be beneficial.\nWorking knowledge of SQL Databases and SQL Queries would be beneficial.\nWilling to demonstrate personal/professional software projects.\n Duties will include, but are not limited to:\nSupport clients in identifying, implementing, and testing optimal software solutions.\nInstallation, testing, and troubleshooting of software solutions.\nCalibration and configuration of sensor software installed on site.\nMonitoring servers and sensors deployed in the field on an ongoing basis as part of standby support and during deployment phase of a project.\nCommissioning of software via Ansible, Azure IoT, Git, and Docker Containers.\nCreate and update Support and Commissioning documentation.\nDebug networking issues systematically.\nInform relevant team(s), as well as internal and external stakeholders where needed, if issues are detected in software that hinders clients’ operation.\nEnsure clients are satisfied with the results of implemented solutions provided by company\nKeep clients in the loop when addressing issue during the project deployment
