Contribute to negotiations with vendors for new and existing technologies and services.
Participate in research and development activities related to specific information security technologies.
Oversee implementation of security changes, assessing for shortcomings and risks.
Identify, evaluate, and set selection criteria for new security products.
Assist in the implementation and handover of new security solutions.
Develop, review, and maintain relevant security processes, procedures, and standards.
Support the achievement of business strategies, objectives, and core values.
Foster skills development and knowledge sharing across teams.
Provide technical mentoring to junior staff.
Contribute to defining career streams and role requirements within the security domain.
Requirements:
Proven experience of 10+ years in information security, with a strong background in banking, financial services, fintech, or IT.
Solid understanding of security protocols and practices.
Experience in building relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
Excellent problem-solving and incident management skills.
Strong technical knowledge including familiarity with TCP/IP, R, and programming in C.
Analytical skills with a focus on data analysis.
Effective communication and writing abilities.
Nice to Have:
Additional certifications in information security or related fields.
Experience in negotiating with technology vendors.
