This role focuses on translating business needs into actionable data queries, delivering ad hoc analysis, and building sustainable reporting solutions. The successful candidate will play a key role in optimizing and maintaining commercial reporting for the lending business, enabling data-driven decision.Key Responsibilities:\nBusiness Liaison & Insights GenerationEngage with business stakeholders to understand and document their data and reporting requirements.\nTranslate business questions into clear, actionable queries and provide insights to support decision-making.\nDeliver timely ad hoc analysis to address critical business questions.\n\nReporting Development & MaintenanceDesign, build, and maintain dashboards and automated reporting solutions to track key performance metrics.\nEnsure all reports are accurate, accessible, and aligned with the business's strategic objectives.\nCollaborate with the data engineering team to ensure reliable data pipelines and integrity of data sources.\n\nOptimization & Continuous ImprovementContinuously evaluate and improve reporting tools, processes, and templates.\nIdentify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business growth through robust data analysis.\nProvide training and support to business users on BI tools and self-service reporting capabilities.\n\nCollaboration & DocumentationWork closely with data engineers, analysts, and credit teams to ensure alignment of reporting solutions with broader data strategies.\nDocument reporting processes, data models, and visualization standards.\n\nMonitoring and TroubleshootingImplement monitoring solutions to ensure the health of data pipelines.\nTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to data processing and database performance.\n\nMinimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.\nProficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SSRS, or Excel.\nAdvanced SQL experience querying and manipulating large datasets.\nFamiliarity with data visualization best practices.\nExceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExperience in credit or lending businesses.\nExposure to Python, R, or other analytical programming languages.\nUnderstanding of data warehouse structures and ETL processes.
