Duties:
Develop, test, and implement Java applications in accordance with SDLC standards.
Support development environments, ensuring coding standards and peer reviews are maintained.
Produce technical specifications and system architecture documents.
Design and debug applications to create robust, scalable solutions.
Minimise system downtime by proactively identifying issues and managing defects.
Monitor system performance post-implementation and perform root cause analysis.
Collaborate with business units and stakeholders to understand needs and deliver innovative IT solutions.
Supervise and assist fellow developers to foster team growth.
Continuously develop personal technical and business skills to stay ahead of industry trends.
Requirements:
B.Comm, B.Eng, BSc Eng, BSc Informatics or a related degree.
4-6 years' experience in Java programming (Java 8 and above).
Strong expertise in the Spring framework.
Solid SQL and relational database knowledge.
Proficiency in Java, SQL, and data handling.
Experience with system design, debugging, and performance tuning.
Nice to Have:
Knowledge of banking or fintech industry standards.
