required:\nIntermediate: 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in BI development, data analysis, reporting or data development.\nSenior: 5+ or more years of relevant experience, including independent delivery of complex BI solutions and stakeholder leadership.\nDemonstrable experience with Power BI, DAX, Power Query, SQL, dimensional modelling, requirements analysis, testing and data validation.\nBachelor’s degree or relevant tertiary qualification is preferred \nEssential Technical Skills\nPower BI Desktop and Power BI Service, including workspaces, apps, refresh management, gateways and row-level security.\nStrong DAX capability, including filter context, time intelligence, iterators and performance-aware calculation design.\nPower Query and M for data profiling, cleansing, transformation and reusable query design.\nAdvanced SQL, including joins, aggregation, common table expressions, subqueries, window functions, views, stored procedures and query optimisation.\nDimensional data modelling, star schemas, fact and dimension design, relationships and semantic models.\nData validation, reconciliation, root-cause analysis and test design.\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel, including formulas, lookup functions, PivotTables and data validation.\nStrong data visualisation, dashboard design and data-storytelling capability.\nClear technical documentation and requirements specification.\n Advantageous:Data Architecture: Advanced Microsoft Fabric, Azure, and cloud data ecosystem knowledge.\nData Development: Coding in Python/R alongside API, JSON, and flat-file integration skills.\nBI & Modeling Tooling: Performance optimization using Tabular Editor, DAX Studio, and Power BI.\nDevOps & Governance: Competency in Git, CI/CD pipelines, security controls, and data governance.\nAdvanced Analytics: Experience with Machine Learning, predictive modeling and Microsoft
