ResponsibilitiesSales Support\nRespond to incoming customer enquiries via telephone and email regarding pump products, rental solutions and related services.\nAssist customers by identifying their requirements and recommending suitable products or solutions.\nSupport the external sales team with enquiries, leads, quotations and the closing of sales opportunities.\nFollow up on quotations and customer enquiries to assist in converting opportunities into sales.\nPromote the company's product and rental offering to existing and prospective customers.\nQuotations & Order ProcessingPrepare accurate and timely quotations for equipment sales, rentals and services.\nProcess customer sales orders and ensure all relevant information and documentation is captured correctly.\nConfirm product availability and communicate expected delivery or collection timelines to customers.\nLiaise with procurement, logistics and service departments to ensure customer orders are fulfilled correctly and on time.\nFollow up on outstanding quotations, orders and customer requirements.\nCustomer Relationship ManagementDevelop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.\nProvide professional, responsive and efficient customer service.\nMaintain regular contact with customers to encourage repeat business and build long-term relationships.\nAssist with customer concerns, queries and complaints and ensure appropriate follow-up.\nProvide after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction.\nTechnical & Product SupportDevelop and maintain a strong understanding of the company's product range, including submersible pumps, surface pumps, dewatering equipment, slurry pumps, dredging equipment and rental solutions.\nAssist customers in selecting appropriate pumps and equipment according to their application and operational requirements.\nProvide customers with relevant product information and technical guidance.\nRemain up to date with product developments, applications and relevant industry trends.\nCRM, Documentation & ReportingMaintain accurate records of customer interactions, enquiries, quotations, orders and follow-ups on the CRM system.\nTrack sales opportunities and provide regular updates to the Sales Manager.\nAssist with sales forecasts, reports and customer activity information.\nEnsure customer and sales information is accurate and kept up to date.\nTeam CollaborationWork closely with external sales representatives to provide customer information, leads, quotations and sales support.\nLiaise with logistics and service teams regarding deliveries, equipment availability and technical support.\nCoordinate with relevant internal departments to ensure customer requirements are met efficiently.\nAssist with customer campaigns and the promotion of new products and services where required.\nGeneral AdministrationAssist with the preparation of sales agreements, rental contracts, proposals and supporting documentation.\nMaintain accurate and organised sales records.\nEnsure all customer communication is professional and aligned with company standards.\nPerform additional sales and administrative duties as required.\n Minimum RequirementsA relevant tertiary technical qualification is essential, preferably a Trade qualification, Electrical qualification or Mechanical qualification.\nPrevious experience in internal sales, preferably within the industrial, mining, pumps, engineering or equipment rental sectors.\nTechnical knowledge and understanding of pumps, dewatering systems and/or related industrial
