The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy at property level, ensuring all data is complete, audit-ready, and aligned with group standards.\nPlease note: Candidates currently based in Cape Town will be given strong preference.\nMinimum Requirements:\nRelevant qualification in Finance, Accounting, Hospitality Management, or a related field advantageous\nMinimum of 2-4 years’ experience in hospitality inventory or multi-department stock management within a luxury hotel environment\nPrevious luxury hospitality experience essential\nHands-on experience with MyStock, MyInventory, Sage Inventory, or similar systems\nStrong understanding of hospitality operations across Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Spa, and Retail\nExperience working with POS systems such as TallOrder or similar\nStrong analytical and numerical ability with excellent attention to detail\nAbility to supervise and direct Storeman and Administrator functions\nExcellent communication and cross-departmental collaboration skills\nStable work history with contactable references\nKey Responsibilities:\nInventory Governance & Controls\nOversee all daily stock movements across all departments and ensure full SOP compliance\nVerify all transactions including Purchase Orders, GRNs, transfers, wastage, credits, and issues\nReject and correct inaccuracies before daily cut-off\nMaintain accurate item master data, unit of measure, cost, and VAT categorisation\nReconciliation & Reporting\nReconcile POS sales against inventory depletion across bar, spa retail, and gallery operations\nInvestigate all consumption discrepancies on the same day\nLead mid-month and month-end stock counts, ensuring blind counts for high-risk areas\nCompile month-end reporting packs including opening and closing balances, purchases, issues, transfers, wastage, and variance reports\nPurchasing & Receiving\nValidate purchasing requests against departmental budgets, PAR levels, and ROP settings\nOversee GRN accuracy and three-way matching between Purchase Orders, delivery notes, and invoices\nConfirm all supplier credits are correctly raised and reconciled\nRisk, Compliance & Audit\nMaintain full separation of duties across request, capture, approval, and issue functions\nKeep complete digital document trails across all inventory transactions\nEnforce physical controls including locked storage, key registers, and access control\nSupport internal and external audits with accurate and complete
