Wi-Fi, routers, switches, cabling, and VPN connectivity\nPerform basic server tasks - restarts, checking backups ran, monitoring disk space, and simple troubleshooting\nAssist with configuration changes and system adjustments\nOnsite Support ( Piketberg - Harvest Season):\nTravel to Piketberg for a 3-month onsite rotation each year during harvest season, when on-the ground support is busiest.\nInstall and repair physical equipment, run or repair network cabling, and set up workstations\nonsite.\nProvide face-to-face support to the local team during the rotation\nIncident & Request Management:\nLog, track, and resolve support tickets through the service desk system.\nEnsure accurate documentation of troubleshooting steps and resolutions.\nMaintain communication with clients regarding ticket progress.\nBe available for standby duty outside normal hours when required\nClient Environment Administration:\nManage user accounts, permissions, and access requests (Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID).\nAssist with device configuration and deployments.\nSupport backup monitoring and basic recovery tasks\nDocumentation & Security:\nKeep client documentation, system diagrams, and password records accurate and up to date.\nFollow basic cybersecurity practices - secure password handling, applying updates/patches, and spotting phishing or suspicious activity.\nHandle client and user data responsibly and confidentially at all times\nQualifications & Experience:\nMatric (Grade 12)\nIT Diploma / Certificate or equivalent technical qualification.\n1 -
