Current projects include:\nDesigning and configuring a new SQL database for private markets.\n\nBuilding a new Investor Portal for clients.\n\nCollaborate with various teams (Distribution, Investment, and Central Operations) to identify and execute future projects.\n\nCompliance\nEnsure compliance with local and international regulatory frameworks (e.g., POPIA, GDPR, FICA, FATCA).\n\nDevelop, review, and update IT and compliance policies.\n\nConduct audits to identify and address compliance gaps.\n\nStay up-to-date on regulatory changes and provide recommendations to leadership.\n\nManage the internal compliance calendar for regulatory submissions.\n\nMinimum Requirements:\n\nEducation: A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Law. Strong academic results are preferred.\n\nExperience: 5+ years in IT operations, compliance, or a similar role within the financial services sector.\n\nKnowledge: In-depth knowledge of IT risk, governance, and compliance frameworks.\n\nFinancial Acumen: Experience in asset management, a strong financial background, and commercial understanding.\n\nProject Management: Proven ability to manage complex initiatives.\n\nOther Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
