reputable client is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Jnr Debtors / Creditors Controller to join their team.The successful candidate will be responsible for managing debtors and creditors administration, processing invoices, performing reconciliations, assisting with payment schedules, and providing general office administrative support.\nKey Responsibilities\nDebtors\nConduct credit checks and vetting of new customers for management approval.\nCoordinate the retrieval and distribution of customer invoices.\nEmail copies of invoices to customers upon request.\nCreditorsCapture stock received once it has been checked and verified.\nReconcile supplier statements and ensure balances are accurate.\nResolve supplier queries, follow up on credit notes, and obtain outstanding invoices.\nCheck and reconcile freight accounts.\nPrepare monthly supplier payment schedules.\nMaintain accurate filing of creditors' invoices and supporting documentation.\nGeneral Office AdministrationAnswer incoming calls and take messages.\nOrder office stationery, refreshments, cleaning supplies and packing materials.\nCoordinate maintenance and repairs of office equipment and facilities.\nManage petty cash and banking of cash sales.\nMaintain filing systems and archives.\nSubmit staff attendance registers, leave forms and sick notes.\nRequirementsMatric essential.\nPrevious experience in a Debtors / Creditors Clerk or similar finance administration role.\nExperience with supplier reconciliations, invoice processing and payment schedules.\nGood working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.\nStrong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.\nExcellent organisational and administrative skills.\nGood communication and problem-solving abilities.\nAbility to work independently and meet monthly deadlines.\nExperience handling petty cash and general office administration advantageous.\n Ideal CandidateHighly organised and detail-oriented.\nReliable, professional and trustworthy.\nAble to multitask and prioritise responsibilities.\nStrong follow-up skills and ability to resolve account queries
