The successful candidate will report directly to the Branch Manager.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nEnsuring all operational processes and procedures are strictly followed\n\nIdentify the exact quality and specification of the commodity purchased\n\nMaintain good customer relations and ensure customer satisfaction\n\nIdentify and report fraudulent transactions\n\nReject nonmetallic items and inferior quality metals\n\nEnsure records are updated and reconciled accurately for all items purchased and dispatched\n\nEnsure Company policies and procedures & Health & Safety regulations are adhered to\n\nLead and supervise a team in order to achieve operational and goal orientated requirements\n\nEnsure that assistants thoroughly inspect scrap to be purchased and display all metals openly for photographing\n\nEnsure that the requirements of the Second-hand Goods Act are complied with when buying scrap by accurately recording all information required under the Act\n\nDisciplinary action and daily management of staff.\n\nPlant and equipment are maintained as per the maintenance schedule.\n\nEnsures that tasks are delegated to the different staff members within the department.\n\nEnsure that employees are properly trained and licensed for the machinery/equipment that they operate.\n\nEnsure that all production staff members wear the correct and required PPE at all times.\n\nQUALIFYING EXPERIENCE\nMinimum Grade 12 or equivalent.\n\n5 years’ experience in a Supervisory position.\n\nA minimum of at least 5 years’ experience in a production industry.\n\nComputer literate -
