The role focuses on identifying technology risks, evaluating internal controls, assessing SDLC processes, and providing practical recommendations to strengthen governance, security and compliance. The successful candidate will independently manage audit engagements from planning through execution and reporting, while engaging stakeholders and monitoring remediation actions.Key Responsibilities:\nPlan and execute IT internal audits with minimal supervision.\nAssess technology risks across cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, data environments and SDLC processes.\nEvaluate the effectiveness of IT controls, governance frameworks and security practices.\nPerform or support data analytics to identify risks, control weaknesses and anomalies.\nDocument audit findings and prepare reports with clear, actionable recommendations.\nEngage with technology, cybersecurity, data and business stakeholders to communicate audit outcomes.\nMonitor agreed audit actions and track remediation through to completion.\nDevelop audit project plans, manage timelines and monitor progress against agreed scope and budgets.\nApply recognised internal audit standards and best-practice frameworks.\nStay informed about emerging technology risks and incorporate them into audit planning and execution.\nQualifications & Experience:Minimum of 3 years’ experience in IT internal auditing.\nExperience designing, performing or assisting with data analytics for audit purposes.\nStrong exposure to cybersecurity, complex Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and cloud environments.\nProven ability to manage the full audit lifecycle, from planning and fieldwork through to reporting, with minimal supervision.\nSound understanding of IT governance, risk management, internal controls and industry frameworks.\nRelevant tertiary qualification, preferably a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.\nCISA certification preferred;
