SLA, incl escorting filter press and lime deliver trucks as required).\nAssist with specifications, sourcing quality control of equipment required / refurbished / repaired as well as pricing, tendering and implementation on new electrical, mechanical and civil installations.\nConduct problem solving principles [Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and/or 5 Why’s] to prevent recurrences of problems\nControl, analyse and manage the information on the CMMS on a timeous basis and use this information as a management tool.\nManage and coordinate maintenance team.\nLiaise with the client for necessary arrangements.\n\nWhat you’ll need\n\nQualified Millwright having undergone apprenticeship or equivalent apprenticeship training.\nRequire a section 13 or section 26D trade test certificate as Millwright (Electro-mechanician).\nMinimum of 5 years relevant experience in maintenance of large electrical and mechanical installations.\nMust have a strong electrical background and be able to trouble shoot accurately and quickly.\nMinimum of 5 years relevant experience in SCADA and PLC control systems as well as field control instrumentation will be an advantage.\nStrong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills\nAbility to diagnose complex pump and process-related failures\nPrecision alignment skills (laser alignment preferred)\nEffective troubleshooting under pressure\nAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals\nStrong analytical and problem-solving ability\nGood report writing and feedback skills\nAbility to communicate professionally with client representatives\nPlanning and organizing maintenance activities efficiently\nTime management and ability to prioritize breakdowns\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision\nComputer literacy (MS Office, maintenance systems, VSD interfaces)\nStrong safety leadership and compliance mindset\nWhat is in it for you?\nSalary: R50 000 - R60 000 p.m. Market related, inclusive of benefits, based on experience and qualifications.\n\nA Few Things to Know\nAbility to work in a high-pressure mining environment\nto build and maintain professional client relationships\nto represent the company in a professional and solution-driven manner\nto think independently and “outside the box”\nto develop practical, cost-effective solutions on site\nto make a plan with available resources during breakdown situations\nto mentor and guide junior artisans\nto work extended hours and assist with standby when required\nto possess a high level of accountability and ownership of work\na strong work ethic and commitment to quality workmanship\nto work safely and enforce safety standards at all times\nto accept and take control of relevant safety appointments as per MHSA / OHSA\nReady to Apply?\n Click Apply and please complete your application in full.\nIf you don’t hear from us within 3 months, your application was not successful.
