Marketing Strategist

Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and implement marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Plan and execute integrated B2C and lead-generation campaigns.
• Manage brand positioning, messaging and customer communications.
• Develop digital campaigns across social media, search, website and email.
• Conduct market, competitor and customer research.
• Develop customer segmentation and targeting strategies.
• Manage campaigns from briefing through to implementation and reporting.
• Partner with sales teams to improve lead generation and conversion.
• Identify customer retention, cross-selling and referral opportunities.
• Develop community marketing, sponsorship and activation initiatives.
• Monitor marketing KPIs, including leads, conversions, cost per lead and ROI.
• Manage marketing suppliers, budgets and campaign timelines.

Minimum Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business, Communications, Brand Management or a related field.
• 5+ years' marketing experience, preferably within a B2C environment.
• Proven experience in marketing strategy and campaign management.
• Strong digital and social media marketing knowledge.
• Experience in lead generation, customer segmentation and market research.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercially minded and results-driven.
• Experience within insurance, financial services, funeral services, retail, FMCG, telecommunications or other consumer-focused industries would be advantageous.
