Or hourly rate\nCompany: Groswin Global Recruitment\nEmail:  / rob \nAbout the Role\nJoin a leading technology business and play a key role in running, securing and extending production OpenStack private clouds that host GPU compute for enterprise and sovereign clients.\nYou will operate core OpenStack services, onboard tenants, manage GPU infrastructure, networking and storage, drive upgrades and automation, and lead incident response.\nKey Responsibilities\nOperate and maintain production OpenStack services.\n\nOnboard and manage tenants.\n\nManage GPU infrastructure, networking and storage.\n\nTroubleshoot Linux systems, virtual machines and hypervisor faults.\n\nDrive infrastructure upgrades and automation.\n\nSupport incident response and structured change control.\n\nMaintain and secure private cloud infrastructure.\n\nMinimum Requirements\n5+ years of Linux systems administration experience (Ubuntu or RHEL family).\n\n3+ years of experience operating OpenStack in production environments.\n\nExperience with KVM and libvirt, including troubleshooting instance and hypervisor faults.\n\nNetworking fundamentals, including VLAN, VXLAN, routing, BGP, DNS and DHCP.\n\nAnsible, plus Python or Bash scripting.\n\nGit-based change control and structured incident handling.\n\nAdvantageous Experience\nCeph or enterprise NVMe storage, such as VAST Data.\n\nNVIDIA GPU virtualisation, including vGPU and MIG.\n\nRDMA or RoCE networking.\n\nKubernetes and Slurm or other HPC schedulers.\n\nPrometheus, Grafana and OpenSearch or ELK.\n\nOpenStack deployment frameworks, such as Kolla-Ansible, Charmed OpenStack, Red Hat OpenStack Platform or commercial distributions.\n\nAdditional Requirements and Working Conditions\nParticipation in an on-call/standby rota.\n\nRegular on-site work at Gauteng client data centres.\n\nCriminal and credit checks; some client sites may require additional vetting.\n\nA degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience.\n\nHow to Apply\nInterested candidates should apply through Groswin Global Recruitment.\nEmail: \nAlternative email: \nGroswin Global Recruitment\nPeople.
