process-driven, and capable of managing multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.\nKey Responsibilities\n\nInventory Management\nManage and maintain inventory accuracy across all warehouse locations.\nEnsure appropriate stock levels are maintained to meet customer demand while minimizing excess inventory.\nInvestigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.\nDevelop and implement inventory control processes and best practices.\nCoordinate and lead periodic stock counts and annual stock takes.\nEnsure inventory records within Sage X3 are accurate and up to date.\nInbound Operations\nManage the receipt, verification, and put-away of incoming inventory.\nCoordinate with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure timely receipt of goods.\nMonitor inbound shipment schedules and proactively address delays.\nEnsure compliance with company procedures and quality standards during receiving activities.\nOutbound Operations\nOversee order processing, picking, packing, and dispatch activities.\nDevelop and manage daily dispatch plans to ensure customer delivery commitments are met.\nWork closely with transport providers and customers to ensure deliveries arrive on time and in full.\nMonitor operational performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.\nDemand Planning & Supply Chain Coordination\nDevelop and maintain demand forecasts using historical sales data and business intelligence.\nWork closely with Sales, Finance, and Procurement teams to align inventory availability with forecasted demand.\nIdentify potential supply risks and develop mitigation plans.\nSupport inventory replenishment planning and purchasing recommendations.\nCustomer Service & Delivery Performance\nEnsure customer ordering and delivery expectations are consistently achieved.\nProactively manage order fulfilment risks and communicate any potential delays.\nDrive improvements in customer satisfaction through operational excellence.\nSupport the resolution of customer complaints relating to deliveries, stock availability, and logistics.\nProcess Improvement & Reporting\nDevelop and monitor operational KPIs and performance dashboards.\nUtilize advanced Excel reporting tools to provide operational insights.\nIdentify opportunities to improve productivity, inventory turns, delivery performance, and overall operational efficiency.\nLead initiatives focused on continuous improvement and cost optimization.\nTeam Leadership\nLead and develop warehouse and operational staff.\nEstablish performance objectives and conduct regular performance reviews.\nFoster a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.\nEnsure compliance with all health, safety, and company policies.\nKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)\nThe Operations Manager will be measured on:\nCustomer Service & Delivery\nOn-Time In-Full (OTIF) delivery performance.\nCustomer order fulfilment rate.\nCustomer delivery satisfaction metrics.\nInventory Management\nInventory accuracy percentage.\nStock take accuracy and variance levels.\nInventory days on hand.\nReduction in stock obsolescence and write-offs.\nOperational Excellence\nDispatch plan execution.\nWarehouse productivity and efficiency.\nOrder processing turnaround time.\nInbound receiving accuracy.\nPlanning & Forecasting\nForecast accuracy.\nInventory availability.\nReduction in stock-outs.\nWorking capital optimization through inventory management.\nQuality & Compliance\nEnsure compliance with the company's Quality Management System (QMS) requirements and support the maintenance of ISO 13485 certification.\nAdhere to all documented procedures, work instructions, and quality standards relating to inventory, warehousing, and distribution activities.\nSupport internal and external audits and implement corrective actions where required.\nQualifications\nBachelor's Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Management, or a related field.\nRelevant professional supply chain or logistics qualifications will be advantageous.\nExperience\nMinimum 3 to 5 years' experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Warehouse Management.\nProven experience managing inventory, warehousing, and distribution functions.\nExperience in demand planning and inventory forecasting.\nExperience managing third-party logistics providers and transport partners.\nExperience leading and developing operational
