across enterprise environments.\nOracle ERP / EBS SupportProvide database-level support across development, test and production environments.\nSupport Oracle EBS patching, upgrades, cloning and environment refreshes.\nTroubleshoot ERP database incidents and concurrent processing issues.\nSupport interfaces, integrations and database dependencies.\nCollaborate with functional and technical teams to resolve issues.\nDatabase Performance & OptimisationMonitor database performance and identify bottlenecks.\nConduct SQL tuning, query optimisation and database performance analysis.\nMonitor CPU, memory, I/O and storage utilisation.\nRecommend and implement database performance improvements.\nBackup, Recovery & High AvailabilityManage and maintain Oracle RMAN backup and recovery processes.\nSupport Oracle Data Guard and standby database environments.\nAssist with disaster recovery, failover testing and business continuity requirements.\nEnsure database recovery procedures are documented and tested.\nSecurity, Troubleshooting & Production SupportMaintain database security, access controls and compliance standards.\nProvide second- and third-line technical support.\nInvestigate database incidents, identify root causes and implement resolutions.\nSupport database migrations, change management and release activities.\nMaintain accurate technical documentation and operational procedures.\nMinimum Requirements\nCandidates must demonstrate:5+ years of hands-on Oracle Database Administration experience.\n Significant experience supporting Oracle ERP / Oracle E-Business Suite environments.\nStrong technical experience with Oracle Database 19c/21c or other relevant current versions.\nPractical experience with Oracle RMAN backup and recovery.\nWorking knowledge of Oracle Data Guard and high-availability environments.\nStrong SQL and PL/SQL knowledge.\nExperience with Oracle Enterprise Manager.\nDatabase performance monitoring and tuning expertise.\nLinux/Unix administration and shell scripting.\nDatabase patching, upgrades, migrations and environment cloning.\nDatabase security, disaster recovery and production incident management.\nUnderstanding of ITIL principles and service management processes.\nAdvantageous Skills\nOracle RAC experience.\nOracle Database certifications.\nOracle E-Business Suite certification or additional EBS expertise.\nOracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) knowledge or certification.\nLinux or ITIL certification.\nQualifications\nA relevant qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science or Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.Personal Attributes\nThe successful candidate should demonstrate:Strong analytical and technical troubleshooting abilities.\nAbility to independently resolve complex Oracle database issues.\nExcellent attention to detail and documentation.\nStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.\nAbility to work effectively within enterprise production environments.\nAccountability, professionalism and a proactive approach to issue resolution.\nContract Details\nTime Commitment: Approximately 4 hours per week, totalling 16
