Apply today!\nDuties:\nManage payroll accounting and general ledger reconciliations.\nProcess and reconcile payroll and third-party payments.\nPrepare and submit SARS payroll-related returns.\nInvestigate and resolve payroll variances and reconciling items.\nPrepare month-end journals, reconciliations and payroll reports.\nAssist with salary budgets, forecasting and actual vs budget analysis.\nWork closely with HR, Payroll and Finance stakeholders.\nSupport audit requirements and ensure strong financial controls.\nIdentify opportunities to improve and streamline payroll processes.\nJob Experience & Skills Required:\n\nQualifications:\nMatric (Grade 12)\nBCom Accounting\nExperience:\nMinimum 5 years' payroll accounting experience.\nAt least 2 years' experience within a large corporate/listed environment.\nAdvanced Excel skills.\nSAP experience will be advantageous.\nPayroll certification through SAPA will be advantageous.\nStrong analytical and reconciliation skills.\nExcellent attention to detail.\nStrong stakeholder management and communication skills.\nAbility to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.\nSkills & Competencies:\nPayroll Accounting\nPayroll Reconciliations\nGeneral Ledger Reconciliations\nSARS & Statutory Compliance\nAdvanced Excel\nMonth-End Accounting\nFinancial Analysis\nBudgeting & Forecasting\nStakeholder Management\nAnalytical & Problem-Solving Skills\n If you have not had any response in two weeks, please consider the vacancy application unsuccessful.
