The Senior Process Engineer will drive complex process improvements that strengthen operational efficiency, customer experience, controls and digital enablement across business and technology functions.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead process engineering initiatives across banking operations, customer journeys and technology transformation programmes.\nAssess complex end-to-end processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, duplication, operational risks and control weaknesses.\nDesign current-state and future-state processes using BPMN, value-stream mapping and service workflow models.\nFacilitate workshops with senior stakeholders to agree process designs, priorities, ownership and implementation decisions.\nDevelop improvement recommendations and business cases supported by measurable benefits.\nDefine process standards, business rules, controls, performance indicators and accountability.\nEnsure process designs align with business strategy, enterprise architecture, risk requirements and regulatory obligations.\nIdentify and assess opportunities for workflow automation, RPA, system integration and digital self-service.\nPartner with Business Analysts, Feature Analysts, Solution Architects and delivery teams to implement process changes.\nLead process impact assessments and support UAT, operational readiness and implementation sign-off.\nEstablish process governance, maintain repositories and ensure documentation remains accurate and auditable.\nMonitor benefits realisation and recommend corrective actions where improvements fall short.\nReview process deliverables and mentor junior analysts and process practitioners.\nQualifications\nDegree or diploma in Business Management, Information Systems, IT or a related discipline.\nCertification in Business Process Management, Lean Six Sigma, Business Analysis or Process Engineering would be advantageous.\nRequired Experience\n7+ years’ experience in business process engineering, analysis or optimisation.\nBanking or financial services experience is essential.\nProven experience leading complex process improvement or transformation initiatives across multiple business functions.\nStrong experience in process modelling, control design, stakeholder facilitation and benefits measurement.\nExperience engaging senior management and influencing decisions across business and technology teams.\nExperience supporting change delivery in Agile or hybrid environments.\nTechnical Skills\nAdvanced BPMN and end-to-end business process modelling.\nValue-stream mapping, root-cause analysis and process optimisation.\nProcess governance, operational controls and risk assessment.\nProcess performance measurement and benefits realisation.\nProcess modelling tools such as ARIS, Bizagi, Visio or Sparx Enterprise Architect.\nKnowledge of workflow automation, RPA and process mining.\nSQL and Power BI exposure would be advantageous.\nCore Competencies\nStrategic and analytical
