the Role\nWe are seeking a capable and motivated Process Engineer with 3-5 years' relevant experience to join the company's Process Engineering Department.The successful candidate will be responsible for developing practical, cost-effective process engineering solutions, from initial design and process modelling through to commissioning and testing.\nThis position offers excellent exposure to multidisciplinary engineering projects, technical problem-solving and project execution.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop mass and energy balances, process calculations and equipment specifications.\nPrepare BFDs, PFDs, P&IDs, control philosophies and process design reports.\nPerform process modelling, simulations and equipment sizing calculations.\nPrepare technical specifications, cost estimates and tender documentation.\nDetermine utility requirements, insulation and heating specifications.\nParticipate in design reviews, HAZOPs and other process safety studies.\nSupport plant inspections, commissioning, testing and performance evaluations.\nPrepare operating procedures and technical documentation.\nCoordinate with other engineering disciplines and provide guidance to junior engineers.\nTake responsibility for assigned process engineering deliverables and smaller projects.\nMinimum Requirements\nDegree or Diploma in Chemical Engineering from a recognised institution.\n3-5 years' relevant process engineering experience.\nExperience in chemical processing, metallurgy, mining, gas cleaning or related process industries.\nSound understanding of mass and energy balances, process equipment and engineering design documentation.\nExperience with process simulation and design calculations.\nExposure to PFDs, P&IDs, HAZOP studies and commissioning activities.\nStrong analytical, technical and communication skills.\nAbility to work independently and within multidisciplinary project teams.\n An excellent opportunity for a Process Engineer seeking
