For more\ninformation, please visit www.sametal.co.za.\nJob description:\nThe company currently has a vacancy for a highly motivated and experienced Procurement Administrator to\nsupport and coordinate procurement activities in Cape Town. The role requires a highly organized, detail oriented, and process-driven individual with strong administrative and communication skills, who can\neffectively support the procurement function and ensure that procurement processes are completed\naccurately and efficiently.\nResponsibilities will include, but are not limited to:\nProcessing and managing procurement-related requests and transactions.\n\nMaintaining accurate supplier information and documentation.\n\nManaging supplier applications, credit processes, and approvals.\n\nProcessing purchase orders, stock transactions, invoices, and related documentation.\n\nMaintaining procurement reports, stock records, and savings-related information.\n\nProviding general administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the procurement function.\n\nQualifying criteria\nGrade 12 or equivalent\n\nMinimum 5 years’ administrative experience in a similar procurement or supply chain role\n\nExperience within manufacturing, engineering or heavy industrial environments\n\nComputer literate, with strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite\n\nStrong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (Fraxion and Accpac experience advantageous)\n\nQualified attributes\nStrong command of the English language: an eye for detail, meticulous grammar and comprehension,\n\nand exceptional written communication\n\nBasic understanding of additional languages advantageous\n\nMeticulous, accurate and attentive to detail\n\nExcellent business acumen and interpersonal skills\n\nThe ability to self-manage with minimal guidance\n\nAble to meet deadlines for multiple tasks at a time\n\nAbility to work under pressure\n\nAbility to organize and plan carefully\n\nHard-working and self-motivated\n\nAbility to work independently as well as in a team\n\nTime management and organizational skills\n\nExcellent standards in execution\n\nJob title:Procurement Administrator\nReporting to:National Procurement Manager\nJob type: Permanent position\nBenefits include\nProvident fund\nLife cover at 4X annual salary\nFuneral cover\nMedical aid - Hospital Plan with Discovery Health\n15 x paid leave days per annum\nLong service leave after five years of employment\nStandard hours: 07h30-17h00: Monday - Thursday07h30-16h00: Friday\nMay be required to work overtime as per operational requirements\nSalary: We offer a highly competitive package depending on the extent of the applicant’s qualifications and experience.\nWe regret that it is not possible to contact all unsuccessful applicants.
