To manage employees and various operations within the department. The following tasks will include, but are not limited to:\nResponsibilities NOT limited to the below\nManage timesheet and attendance records.\n\nMotivates team.\n\nEnsure that all machinery and equipment are checked to be safe and in good working order.\n\nReport all faults to the necessary departments.\n\nEnsure that correct standard operating procedures are adhered to.\n\nProcesses operational requirements with the team.\n\nFacilitates Health & Safety Toolbox Talks.\n\nPPE- Ensure that all PPE regulations are adhered to before work begins.\n\nAdheres to Health & Safety Regulations in terms of the Safety file for the department.\n\nEnsures that all Employees' Written Task Procedures are up to date and that they have been explained by the Manager and that Employee understands the contents thereof.\n\nEnsures that operators have the necessary Licenses & permits where necessary.\n\nEnsure that general housekeeping is attended to.\n\nQUALIFYING EXPERIENCE\nGrade 12 certificate or equivalent\n\n2 -- 5 years supervisory experience\n\nKnowledge of maintenance planning\n\nKnowledge of production planning\n\nKnowledge of Health and Safety regulations\n\nWillingness to work overtime and night shift as and when required\n\nPrevious experience in a physically demanding working environment would be advantageous\n\nQUALIFYING ATTRIBUTES\nCommitted, hardworking and self-motivated\n\nStrong interpersonal skills\n\nAbility to work under challenging conditions\n\nSound communication skills (understand, read and write English)\n\nMust be prepared to work overtime when required\n\nTime management and organizational skills\n\nDisplay a professional work approach\n\nAbility to work independently and within a team\n\nExcellent standards in execution\n\nOTHER INFORMATION:\nJob Title : Production Supervisor\nReporting to Production Manager\nJob Type : Permanent Position\nBenefits include\nProvident Fund\n\nLife cover at 4 X annual salary\n\nFuneral cover\n\n15 X paid leave days per annum\n\nLong service leave after five years of employment\nStandard hours\n\n07h30 - 17h00: Monday to Thursday\n\n07h30 - 16h00: Friday\n\nWill be required to work overtime as per operational requirements\n\nPlease note applications for this position closes on Monday, 14 September 2026\nWe regret that it is not possible to contact all unsuccessful applicants.
