particularly in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.\nRoles and ResponsibilitiesEngineering Studies and Project Development\nDevelop, coordinate and evaluate engineering studies for proposed mining and infrastructure projects.\nContribute to concept development, scoping, pre-feasibility and feasibility studies.\nGather, validate and analyse technical, operational and financial information to support project decisions.\nEvaluate alternative technical solutions and identify opportunities to improve safety, efficiency, reliability and cost-effectiveness.\nEnsure study assumptions, calculations, estimates and recommendations are accurate, realistic and adequately substantiated.\nPrepare detailed technical reports, study documentation, presentations and recommendations for management review.\nProject Planning and ExecutionTranslate approved project concepts and study outcomes into practical project plans and deliverables.\nAssist with defining project scope, objectives, work breakdown structures, schedules, budgets and resource requirements.\nMonitor project progress against agreed milestones, budgets and technical requirements.\nIdentify deviations, risks and potential delays, implementing corrective actions where necessary.\nFollow up proactively with stakeholders to ensure outstanding actions and deliverables are completed on time.\nSupport projects through engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover, where applicable.\nTechnical Review and Quality AssuranceReview engineering drawings, specifications, calculations, reports and other technical deliverables for accuracy, completeness and compliance.\nIdentify discrepancies, omissions, design risks and inconsistencies before they affect project delivery.\nEnsure proposed solutions are practical and suitable for the operating mine environment.\nCoordinate technical inputs across relevant engineering disciplines and ensure interfaces are properly managed.\nMaintain accurate records of technical decisions, assumptions, changes, approvals and project documentation.\nEnsure deliverables meet applicable engineering standards, company requirements and relevant legislation.\nCost, Schedule and Risk ManagementAssist with developing and validating capital cost estimates, forecasts and project budgets.\nReview supplier quotations, contractor proposals, technical submissions and cost breakdowns.\nTrack project expenditure, commitments, schedule performance and forecast variances.\nIdentify technical, operational, commercial and execution risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.\nEnsure changes to project scope, cost or schedule are properly assessed, documented and approved.\nProvide reliable project information and progress reports to support management decisions.\nStakeholder and Contractor CoordinationWork closely with mining operations, engineering, maintenance, processing, project management and other relevant departments.\nCoordinate inputs from consultants, contractors, suppliers and specialist service providers.\nMonitor the quality and progress of external engineering and study deliverables.\nParticipate in technical meetings, site inspections, design reviews and project progress discussions.\nEnsure project requirements are clearly communicated and outstanding issues are resolved promptly.\nSafety, Compliance and Operational ReadinessEnsure project studies and engineering solutions incorporate health, safety, environmental and operational requirements.\nConsider constructability, maintainability, operability and lifecycle costs when evaluating proposed solutions.\nSupport compliance with applicable mining legislation, engineering standards, internal procedures and site requirements.\nIdentify potential safety or operational concerns during study development and project reviews.\nSupport commissioning, close-out, handover and the preparation of
