you.\nKey Responsibilities\nBusiness Development\nIdentify and develop new business opportunities within the mining sector across Africa.\nBuild and maintain relationships with mine management, consulting engineers, EPC contractors, and project stakeholders.\nIdentify greenfield, brownfield, expansion, and replacement projects.\nDevelop and manage a qualified sales pipeline with regular opportunity reporting.\nInfluence project specifications through early technical engagement.\nTechnical Solutions\nInterpret client process requirements, production targets, and site conditions.\nDevelop fit-for-purpose equipment selections and system solutions.\nAssess technical feasibility and identify project risks with practical mitigation strategies.\nSupport customers with technically sound and commercially viable solutions.\nCommercial Support\nPrepare technical and commercial proposals for capital equipment projects.\nPresent lifecycle cost analyses and demonstrate long-term customer value.\nSupport contract negotiations by defending technical proposals and assumptions.\nContribute directly to order intake, revenue growth, and profitability targets.\nClient & Market Engagement\nDeliver technical presentations to engineering, operations, and procurement teams.\nConduct customer site visits and technical assessments.\nEnsure smooth project handovers from sales to project execution teams.\nProvide market intelligence and customer feedback to senior management.\nRepresent the business at industry conferences, exhibitions, and networking events.\nMaintain strong long-term customer relationships through regular engagement.\nMinimum Requirements\nBEng in Mechanical, Mining, or Process Engineering (or equivalent).\n3-8 years' experience within mining, mineral processing, or heavy industrial equipment.\nProven experience identifying, developing, and closing capital equipment opportunities.\nStrong commercial acumen with experience in lifecycle costing and financial evaluations.\nExperience working within African mining operations will be highly advantageous.\nExcellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving ability.\nWillingness to travel locally and internationally.\nValid driver's license.\nValid passport.\nKey Competencies\nBusiness development and
